Leading B&A’s residential and restoration group, Rick specializes in bespoke residential commissions with a concentration in the Chicagoland area, Michigan, Wyoming, Florida and the Caribbean. His expertise and diverse background in luxury residential building provide a pathway for projects ranging from urban and suburban backdrops to mountain and coastal settings.

Rick has carefully guided myriad complex and award-winning projects and assembled a world-class team of project managers, tradespeople and support staff to ensure clients enjoy a singular building experience. His vast knowledge of high-end construction and intricate restoration practices has benefitted several significant historical restorations including the Richard H. Driehaus Museum and Howard Van Doren Shaw’s Radgale House.

Recognized for his penchant for details and ability to bring out the best in project teams, Rick was instrumental in the formation of B&A’s residential group, now known as Bulley & Andrews Residential + Restoration. His dedication to the art of building and commitment to collaborations with clients, architects and designers has helped produce some of the most distinctive properties across the country and abroad.

Always ready for a challenge, Rick has a knack for making what some may consider impossible, possible.

A graduate of Purdue University with a Bachelor of Science degree in civil/environmental engineering, Rick is a LEED-accredited professional and a member of the Institute of Classical Architecture & Art (ICAA) and the Design Leadership Network (DLN).
