Joseph Koppers

Vice President & Director of Field Operations

Joseph Koppers

During his distinguished, 25 plus-year career with B&A, Joe has cultivated best-in-class field operations and earned an enviable reputation for integrity, fair mindedness and trustworthiness throughout the industry.

His knack for talent acquisition and development, high standards for quality craftmanship and dedication to ensuring B&A’s work exceeds clients’ expectations has made our field forces a key differentiator to B&A’s service offerings.

Joe is a mentor to many, routinely modeling personal and professional behavior that speaks volumes about his character, while personifying B&A’s corporate values of integrity, ingenuity and positive impact. He has contributed his skills, considerable experience and keen insight to several industry organizations. He serves as co-chairman of the Laborers International Union of North America Training and Education Fund, as well as chairman of the Chicagoland Association of General Contractors’ Labor Relations Committee and, most recently, as a board member for Revolution Workshop.

Joe’s focus on continuous improvement, teamwork and leveraging his breadth of experience to help others earn gainful employment in the building trades are among the accomplishments of which he is most proud. When not on a jobsite or spending time with his three grown children, you’ll find Joe in Colorado with his wife, Jill. There, he trades work boots for hiking boots to spend time in the mountains, one of his favorite places to be.
