North Central College: Dr. Myron Wentz Center for Health Sciences & Engineering

B&A provided construction management services for the new, 40,000 sq. ft. academic building on North Central College’s campus in Naperville, IL. Home to the Engineering Manufacturing Process Lab, Masters of Occupational Therapy and anticipated Masters of Science in Physician Assistant and Doctorate of Physical Therapy programs, the Dr. Myron Wentz Center for Health Sciences & Engineering boasts a wide array of functionality including:

• One engineering manufacturing processes lab
• Seven classrooms
• 25 facility/staff offices
• One dedicated inter-professional education space
• One shared clinical research space
• Five open-lounge spaces (included kitchenettes)
• Two shared simulation spaces
• One intensive care unity simulation space
• 10 clinical exam rooms
• Seven group study lounges and conference rooms

The facility is designed to be inclusive with gender neutral bathrooms and lactation rooms, plus private spaces where students can focus on their mental health.
