IIT Technology Business Center

This core and shell redevelopment project converted 140,000 square feet of space to create the new Technology Business Center at the Illinois Institute of Technology’s University Technology Park.

Bulley & Andrews served as General Contractor for the four-story state-of-the art lab and office center.  Beginning with the demolition of the building’s existing interior, the project included construction of a new three-story glass atrium and the addition of offices and mechanical rooms to the first floor of the building.  Exterior work included masonry restoration and new window installation.

With construction waste management at 85%, the use of certified wood, low VOC content for paints/coatings/sealants and water efficient landscaping, the project is LEED certified.
