Good Shepherd Lutheran Church
Good Shepherd Lutheran Church’s sanctuary and common areas suffered fire damage 2018, which resulted in water damage. Bulley & Andrews was selected as the construction manager to restore and remodel the church, updating all mechanical and electrical systems in the process. The scope of work included:
- Structural framing rebuild where fire damage occurred
- Removal of all finishes where water damage occurred
- A new elevator shaft for a second phased elevator installation
- Engineered shoring to keep the steeple supported while under construction
- Removal of all plaster at ceiling level to allow new spray-foam insulation, lighting, and fire suppression system
- Installation of the church’s first ever air conditioning system
- Historic finishes and coordination with the church’s organ and furniture vendors were detailed to enable a seamless installation of all systems
