February Calendar Spotlight: Loews Chicago Hotel

Our featured calendar project for February is the Loews Chicago Hotel!

Our team worked with the Loews Hotel on a renovation project consisting of model rooms, the hotel lobby, and function spaces including ballrooms and meeting rooms. 

This project scope included reupholstering the airwalls, new fabric-wrapped panels, wood panels, finishes, door film, and stone at wall insets. All work done in the ballroom, meeting rooms, and pre-function spaces was successfully completed under a very tight six-week timeframe to meet the hotel’s event schedule.

“The Loews Chicago Hotel was a new client, and our goal was to build a lasting partnership,” said Bill Kroeger, Division Leader. “Our team navigated challenging circumstances through open communication. Corrine Smith, our superintendent, went above and beyond to coordinate with the client and crews, enabling us to stay on schedule without disrupting daily hotel operations.”

B&A worked extensively with ownership and staff to deliver this project with minimal impact to the hotel guests. Daily meetings with the hotel staff helped align construction activities with the hotel’s operational schedule, postponing noisy work to times when it would cause minimal disruption near the lobby.
