And The Winners Are…

Two projects Bulley & Andrews recently completed were recognized for their outstanding efforts on May 2, 2019, during the Chicago Building Congress’ (CBC) annual Merit Awards.

Mark Evans oversaw the project team which included Jason Hayhurst, senior project manager; John Bergthold, senior superintendent; Gloria Orzco, project accountant; Alex Sicinski, project manager; Jacob Hodge, MEP project manager; superintendents Jeff Carroll and Bob Gear; Ryan Naples, assistant superintendent; and Joe Piecuch, carpenter foreman.

What sets the Merit Awards Program above most similar competitions is its meticulous judging process.  Entries from nine categories are judged individually in multiple judging sessions based on the following criteria:

  • Distinctive, functional, or innovative design
  • Quality of Construction
  • Impact of the project upon the community
  • Safety Record
