Welcome Home Rees House

The Harriet F. Rees House was successfully placed in its new home at 2017 S. Prairie Avenue Thursday, November 13. Completing its three-day journey down Prairie Avenue, the 1888 structure will continue to serve as a landmark of the Prairie Avenue District.

A herculean effort, the move was an accomplishment for the entire project team, including the MPEA, Wolfe House & Building Movers, Thornton Tomasetti, and McGuire Igleski & Associates, Inc.
