Presbyterian Home Kimble Fitness Center
This new 25,000 SF, two-story fitness and rehabilitation facility was designed to meet the fitness needs of Presbyterian Home residents. The center offers opportunities for exercise, aimed at fitness, recreation and water therapy. The center is designed with four main areas: a fitness pool, 30’ x 60’, for water exercise programs and lap swimming (ramps will allow for easy access), a therapy pool, 24’ x 27’, with ramp access, a 1,000 SF exercise room adjacent to the fitness pool, and a great room with a kitchen on the mezzanine level overlooking the fitness pool. The room has a club-like atmosphere well suited for gatherings. The fitness center contains men and women’s dressing rooms with lockers, showers and toilets designed to be accessible for those using assistive devices.
