Northwestern Memorial Hospital cGMP Cell Therapy Lab
Bulley & Andrews served as the design/build general contractor for the design, construction and certification of the cGMP Cell Therapy Lab. The facility occupies approximately 5,000 SF on the seventh floor of the Olson Pavilion at Northwestern Memorial Hospital. It is a highly innovative and unique manufacturing facility designed to support a diverse university-based physician-scientist community. The facility is utilized for the collection, processing and manufacturing of human cells, tissues and, cellular and tissue-based projects.
The project team delivered design and engineering services including programming, schematic design, design development, contract documents, subcontractor bid packages, submissions to regulatory agencies, as well as construction administration.
In order to execute construction, the team also provided scheduling/logistics, estimating/budgeting, system feasibility studies, bid management, submissions to regulatory agencies, supervision, commissioning, FDA certification and project close-out.
