Baha’i Temple Welcome Center
An inspiring and unique structure symbolizing unity, the Bahá’í House of Worship in Wilmette is a gathering place that welcomes people of all backgrounds to worship. Adding to the temple’s open and inviting nature, a new 16,000 SF Welcome Center is being constructed. Bulley & Andrews is proud to serve as General Contractor for this new addition.
The ground floor of the Welcome Center will include large public restrooms, a lobby and lounge area, an administrative office and reception desk. The basement level is larger than the ground floor, creating areas with green roof and courtyard spaces. The basement level will contain an administrative office, a gallery/display space, a bookstore, a conference/seminar room, a mechanical room, large public restrooms, and a staff breakroom.
The project is being submitted for LEED certification with the goal to achieve a Gold rating.
