Adventist Hinsdale Hospital 2S Patient Wing Renovation

Bulley & Andrews served as general contractor for the interior renovation of the surgical inpatient unit at Hinsdale Hospital.  The emphasis of the project was to transform the formerly cramped space into a non-institutional healthcare environment that is calming and comfortable.

Great attention was given to creating an atmosphere that would be welcoming and comforting for patients, their families and staff by introducing 30 single patient rooms and decentralized team stations.  Each room provides amenities and spaces for the patient, the family and staff work areas.  The space is configured with abundant natural light, which is complemented by soft, indirect corridor lighting.
