Ronald McDonald House Charities – Downtown

Bulley & Andrews provided construction services for the new Ronald McDonald House located at 211 E. Grand Avenue in Chicago, IL.  The 16-story facility includes common areas for general services and amenities and RMHC staff space and support areas.  Guest kitchens, dining areas and family lounges are provided on floors two through four.  The top nine floors house 10 individual guest rooms per floor.  The entire facility is meant to create a home away from home for families in need of medical care.

Pre-construction services included project budgeting and scheduling along with recommendations for pre-purchasing long lead items and value engineering recommendations throughout the design phase.

Opened in June 2012, the project has achieved LEED Gold certification.
