Rogers Park Montessori Addition and Alterations

To execute their vision for the kind of space conducive to the Montessori philosophy, Rogers Park Montessori partnered with Bulley & Andrews to provide construction management services for an addition and interior alterations.

Established in 1966, Rogers Park Montessori School has served the needs of the child by providing an enriched environment that inspires children to reach their highest potential. Their new addition supports that objective by providing ample child-centered spaces that will accommodate their increasing enrollment.

The scope of work involved approximately 15,000 sq. ft.. The addition added 13,000 sq. ft. to the current 47,000 sq. ft. school and includes room for offices, drama studies, a new library and a large classroom for its growing seventh- and eighth-grade classes. The remainder of affected space involved reworking existing offices to create a smooth segue from the new addition to the existing facility. Construction was completed during the summer in time for the new 2015 school year.
