Bennett Day School

Facilitating Bennett Day School’s mission to advance creativity and innovation in learning, Bulley & Andrews served as general contractor for the buildout of their new Early Childhood Campus in Chicago’s West Loop neighborhood.

Designed to reflect the standards set-forth in the Reggio Emilia approach to learning, which was developed in post WWII Italy, the facility encourages students to influence learning and makes sure that students have access to ample natural light and common areas. The 7,000 sq. ft. space includes a TinkerLab and classrooms that engage students with texture, provide clear lines of sight across and into spaces beyond, and have access to abundant sunlight.

B&A’s careful coordination of materials and attention to detail were key to delivering a learning environment where children’s logic, problem solving skills, and expression will be fostered, challenged, and strengthened.
