Bulley & Andrews, named General Contractor of the Year
Chicago, Ill. (May 6, 2009) – Bulley & Andrews, LLC is honored to be named “General Contractor of the Year” by the Association of Subcontractor and Affiliates (ASA Chicago) and the Federation of Women Contractors (FWC).
ASA Chicago chose Bulley & Andrews as the recipient of the “Outstanding General Contractor of the Year” award because of their exceptional work in the building industry as well as service to the Association. Bulley & Andrews has been a member of the ASA Chicago’s General Contractor Advisory Council since 2002.
The award will be presented at ASA Chicago’s 15th annual awards dinner on May 7, 2009. It is designed to recognize a general contractor that runs a smooth, highly efficient and well‐coordinated job, is prompt in processing subcontractor's requisitions and makes timely payments. The recipient must also be well managed with administrative practices that are effective, productive and reasonable with subcontractors and suppliers.
Bulley & Andrews is pleased to also accept the award, “General Contractor of the Year”, given by the Federation of Women Contractors. The award is designed to acknowledge a firm that continuously supports women owned businesses by helping them gain new opportunities.
“Bulley & Andrews is a name that consistently comes up as a great general contractor to work with,” said Beth Doria, executive director of the Federation of Women Contractors. “They demonstrate respect for the women owned businesses they work with and continue to provide them with new opportunities.”
The award will be presented at the FWC’s “Women Rock 3” awards reception on May 28, 2009 at the House of Blues. This year marks the organization’s 20th anniversary.
