Bulley & Andrews Acquires Takao Nagai Associates

Chicago, Ill. (February 5, 2010) – Bulley & Andrews, one of Chicago’s leading general contractors, announced today that it has acquired the assets of Takao Nagai Associates, a firm that specializes in concrete restoration and waterproofing.

"Their concrete repair expertise will complement Bulley & Andrews’ extensive restoration experience.”  

Under terms of the agreement, Bulley & Andrews purchased Takao Nagai’s assets and assumed the balance of projects and contracts going forward.   As a subsidiary of Bulley & Andrews, the new entity will be known as Takao Nagai Concrete Restoration, LLC effective February 3, 2010. 

Takao Nagai Associates was founded in 1979 and became a recognized leader in parking garage restoration.  Based in Addison, Ill., the firm employs 50 to 75 union tradesmen.  With over 30 years of experience, their project portfolio is extensive including stadiums, parking structures, plazas and vaulted sidewalks. 

Bulley & Andrews is hiring many of the former Takao Nagai Associates’ field forces and office personnel.  Their expertise and leadership will help ensure a seamless transition for ongoing projects and contracts.
