CHICAGO, IL Bulley & Andrews, LLC's historic restoration specialist Jill Engelman presented another lecture in the Chicago Architectural Foundation’s Wednesday Lunchtime Lecture series. The lecture is one of many which chronicle her involvement in the restoration and adaptive re-use of the 16-sided Teeple Barn in Elgin, IL.
The November 10th lecture was co-hosted by Mr. Gunny Harboe, AIA, Vice President of the Preservation Group at McClier, and Project Architect for the Teeple Barn. Together Ms. Engelman and Mr. Harboe discussed securing the barn’s structural integrity, replication of its historic features and the structure’s future as an educational space.
