Bulley & Andrews Celebrates New Veterans Legal Support Center Clinic

Bulley & Andrews is proud to announce the celebratory opening of the Veterans Legal Support Center Clinic’s new home at the John Marshall Law School.  The ribbon cutting will take place this Thursday, September 26th. Designed by Griskelis Young Harrell, the new space at 19 W. Jackson Blvd. was created with veterans in mind, featuring an environment meant to soothe post-traumatic stress disordersymptoms. Bulley & Andrews provided construction management services for the building’s 37,500 SF interior renovation. Additionally, Bulley & Andrews Masonry Restoration restored the building’s historic façade. As a member of Landmarks Illinois for eight years, Krista has contributed her skills and talents to the organization by serving as Chair of the Skyline Council, member of the Fund and Easement Committee as well as the Louis Sullivan Society. Bulley & Andrews fully supports and encourages the mission of Landmarks Illinois to preserve historically significant buildings in Illinois.

Bulley & Andrews Celebrates CBC Project Awards for Monroe Building and Ronald McDonald House

Each year the Chicago Building Congress (CBC) presents Merit Awards to honor outstanding projects in eight different categories. This year two Bulley & Andrews’ projects, the Monroe Building and Ronald McDonald House, were awarded the 2013 Merit Award in their respective category. The historic Monroe Building took home the night’s top prize for Rehab Construction. Since 1912, the Holabird and Roche designed building at 104 S. Michigan has held a prominent position in the historic street scape opposite Grant Park. When the current owners purchased the 240,000 square foot building, they saw potential in the architectural gem and committed to a complete renovation and restoration. ...
