Renovation of the 3rd floor at Wyler Children’s Hospital had a clearly defined focus: making the environment more child and family-friendly. To achieve this, the design and construction team made a number of modifications to the existing 12,000 SF space. Changes included placement of playrooms at both ends of the floor, electrical upgrades for computer installation, lighting improvements and modular casework which provides greater visibility for staff and easy access for parents and families.
